Do you only cover Amsterdam?

No — despite the name, Amsterdam Kids covers family-friendly places and events across the Netherlands. We started in Amsterdam (it's our home), but our listings now span Utrecht, Haarlem, Rotterdam, the Hague, and beyond. If you're a family living in or visiting the Netherlands, this is for you.

Is Amsterdam Kids free to use?

Yes — for parents. Browsing places, events, and articles is completely free, and always will be. Listing is free for businesses too; we're funded by optional paid boosts — but rankings, reviews, and recommendations are never paid for.

Can I suggest a place or event to add?

Yes, please. Some of our best listings come from parent recommendations. Use the contact form above or email us — even a name and a sentence is enough.

How do you choose what to list?

Every listing is reviewed before going live. We look for places that are genuinely welcoming to families — not just tolerant of kids, but actually built for them. We visit where we can, read reviews, and listen to parent feedback. If a listing stops meeting the bar, it comes down.

How often are listings updated?

Opening hours, prices, and event dates are reviewed regularly, and listings are refreshed whenever a business sends us an update. If you ever spot something out of date, email us — we fix it the same week.

How do I list my business?

Visit our Get Listed page and fill out a short onboarding form — about 5 minutes. We'll review your submission and get back to you within 48 hours with next steps.

What does a listing cost?

Nothing — creating and keeping a listing is free. We keep pricing simple: we take no cut of your visits or of anything you sell at your own door, and no surprise add-ons. How long does the review process take?

We aim to review every submission within 48 hours on weekdays. Once approved, your listing goes live the same day. If we have questions or suggestions, Samira will reach out personally.

Do you offer advertising opportunities?
